Aftermarket R2 Floor Mats

If they're like the ones for the R1S -- no, they don't. Personally, I'll be getting 3D mats. Best mats I've ever had. Look similar to carpet but have the large coverage like weathertech. Hopefully they make R2 mats quickly!

How are they for getting dried road salt off/out?

Mine as well. I appreciate the tall side walls but they warp and curl away from the floor which is useless in a snowy climate.

We love TuxMats in our other vehicle and I’m hoping they make them for the R2. They’ve held up extremely well after 7 years and a simple rinse makes them look new again. They’re softer and look better than something like a Weathertech.

Just heard back from 3DMats - they told me to check back in 6-7 months to see where they're at with R2 mats. Also wanted to know if I was local to them; I suspect they're wanting to get their hands on one to measure - if anybody is near them, might be able to talk yourself into a comp'd set if you can help them out.

Seems like they are based out of CA, which puts me out of the question (also no R2 in hand unfortunately). I will likely keep the stock mats until they are able to release something for the R2. I have really liked them in my wife's Model Y. Simple to remove and put back as well as durable and easy to clean. Nothing but good things to say honestly.

6-7 months lmao. Wonder what we are going to purchase in the meantime.
