It going into park is because your not buckled up. I was so effing ticked when I couldn't back out of my driveway. Stupid safety feature that you can't disable.
I back out of my driveway without my seatbelt on?

Do you know that you can touch-drag the vent icons on the fan and vents display screen? Once I discovered this, I can easily adjust all vents to point where I need them. Also, I don't know but it also seems that the more I "stretch" open a vent icon, the stronger the airflow.
The adjustments are limited and don’t always have the ability to direct air where people want it. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/air-conditioning-vents.16619/post-358783

I live in Phoenix, AZ area (Scottsdale) where it's quite warm in the summer.
Sir, you have the gift of understatement. There's NO f'ing way I'd every live in southern AZ in the summer, even if you gave me the house for free.

On the other hand, I'm happy to visit there in the winter.

Yes, the only way to adjust the front vents is from the center display. Not sure about stretching the vents to give stronger airflow. I just use the slider on the center display, but cool if that's true!
