Amazon music not working after software update

Anyone else?

Alexa will respond to the request for music/artist/song but then nothing actually plays in the truck. It appears to be phantom streaming bc when you switch to the amazon music app on the phone and try to play it says it needs to cancel the current streaming to the car before it activates another stream- tho again no sound or artist info is being played or displayed on the truck. A hard reset fixes it but that’s not a great fix. Anyone got similar issues or suggestions to solve? And the phone music app seems to be working so doubtful it’s a server error on amazons side.

Started acting up on me yesterday. Worked once in the morning but with a long delay. Nothing after that one stream. Tried restarting the screens and also tried signing out of Alexa and signing back in. Have not tried a hard reset.

I installed 2023.14.0 several days ago and Amazon music was working fine initially. So, I’m not sure that the update is to blame.

Yes, same problem here that started with the 2023.14.0 update. I've had to revert back to Tidal for now. It's definitely the truck as everything is working as normal through our Fire TV Cube in the house.

Infotainment reset fixed mine. Not sure if it's a permanent fix since I don't always listen to anything when I am in the truck.

Same here after the 2023.14.0 update. I first tried a soft reset but that didn't fix it. Signing out from Alexa and back in fixed it for me.

I do have a strange (new?) issue with streaming music stopping when I switch into reverse and not resuming when back in drive.

Same problem here. Multiple soft resets did not fix. Haven’t tried hard reset yet.

Same problem. I've hard reset, soft reset and this morning it has been working, even after exiting vehicle and entering. I filed a report on it....glad it's just not me.

Same here. Worked fine until the update. Same phantom playing. Really annoying.

Same issue. Started right after the update, then the next day it worked. But that didn’t last. After several conversations with Rivian Service, soft reboot, hard reboot, keep the keys and phone with Bluetooth off 50’ away so it can cycle. Still didn’t work. Finally called again yesterday and was told several owners are experiencing this issue, they are aware of it and they are working on a fix so please be patient….ugh..

Had same issue after update. Tried everything above and didn’t work. Called rivian and tier 2 tech said to tell Alexa to clear all alerts. Then reboot info system and it worked.

Thank you. Days ago I tried both infotainment and hard reboot. Neither worked. Today I cleared the Alexa alerts and did infotainment reboot. Alexa playing now.
