If time is not of the essence, what is the best amperage setting for charging and saving battery life. As a percentage of charge I’m keeping it at 70% for the max

That was my understanding about DC fast charging as well -- that the amperage setting in the vehicle only affected the onboard charger (AC charging). Thanks for confirming!For Level 1/2 should set to 80% of rated amperage.

You don’t control. Charger is the big box, it talks to car and figures it out.
If the EVSE is not an absolute piece of garage and you as an owner we aren’t using a plug adapter to fit a 50 amp plug in a 30 amp receptacle - there is no need to adjust the amperage of the Rivian as the EVSE will only provide what is safe based on its correct installation.For Level 1/2 should set to 80% of rated amperage.
