Any activity in the Austin, TX area?

Stretches of 183 and 620 are. 35 north of Austin is as well, not sure if I ever used it south of that.

The entire I35 corridor is Driver+ (outside of intermittent stretches of construction or things like that). The following are others that are included currently:

Mopac (entire stretch)
183 (basically entire in the metro area)
290/Ben White (mostly between Oak Hill and perhaps 183 connection near the airport)

I hope they add 290 both west and east of Austin, and 71 going out to the NW, specifically for my use cases. Also the 281 corridor from SA up through Johnson City, as a route I take often to San Antonio to avoid I35.

Couldn’t agree more. We had our first mile on Friday. Charlie was awesome, we got to spend plenty of time with the R1S. Looking forward to getting ours, even though the email stating the delay came about 2hrs after our drive, it didn’t bum us out, as the vehicle is solid, and exactly what we need.

Just got an invite to a Rivian event here in Austin this Saturday 12/3. Anyone else? Oddly, it is on South Congress, not at the SC. More publicity on SoCo I assume.

I did. Had to RSVP for a time slot and number of guests. I also just noticed an invite to book a First Mile drive appointment on my account page... was momentarily excited until I saw it was only for the Dallas SC. Why would they do that? I am 4 miles from the Austin SC. Not going to make a trip to Dallas for it.

Update... 2 seconds chatting with CS and I had the First Mile appointment changed to Austin. Super easy and they were very helpful.

Certainly a possibility. But if they have CY on display (the only color I haven't seen in person yet), we'll know that's not the case.

And my guess is that these will be the vehicles in Plano. I didn't pay attention to all the plates, but the R1S had Michigan plates... I'm guessing these are being used for a road tour of sorts.

Awesome, thanks for that feedback! I'll definitely make a point to hit the Plano event to hopefully see Compass Yellow.

I was suspecting that these vehicles might be touring since the Austin and Plano events were back to back weekends instead of on the same day. Your plates observation would suggest the same.
