Any Browser coming for the infotainment display?

Any chance Rivian will add a browser to the system, movies, rear view pop up window, receive and send text messages? Don’t really want the silly things Tesla adds (ie: farting, horn changes) but the above items are very useful . Thanks!

Neighbor, Rivian employee says infotainment is being tested internally and he has seen it up and running in the lab. He has no clue when, but he thinks it is sOOn...

I've never heard a browser mentioned, but I believe they have said they plan to offer entertainment options in the future. It was originally part of the membership conversation, but then they changed the membership idea to an a la carte plan. No details yet on content, pricing or anything more specific than that...

For anyone that missed it, in this video, Wassym Bensaid, Sr VP Software Development fields a lot of questions regarding requested software features such as dash cam, bed cam, video on turn signal, entertainment options and text messaging.

Some of the functionality has already been delivered (dash cam), others will be "by the end of the year" or "over the next few quarters" (from April).

I hope he is able to continue doing these kind of events. I can think of no other car manufacturer doing anything close to this.
