Any Service Center Freebies

I am 3 hours from a service and will either fly home or get a one-way rental. Service will need my car for at least a week. I am declining a rental as I have a second car. Any chance I get free RAN credits or gear?

Our service center is about 45 miles away. WHen they had our R1T for a recall (a/c compressor was overfilled), they had the truck overnight and they gave us UBER credits to get home.

Don’t hold your breath, I know they have free coloring pages of Rivian’s you can get and maybe a free coffee ? at my service center.

Happy to report, water, coffee, and an Uber voucher. Houston service center is top notch.

Some have granola bars too, you may be able to last a week on the granola and water if you ration it.

Otherwise, take the Uber credits and move on.

Ive owned several high end vehicles in my lifetime ( Im 75 and still love my cars!) and found that depending on the make you get a different level of service. Dropping my Mercedes at the dealer in Palm Springs provided me a full bakery rack with fresh baked cookies, lots of donuts & various choices of snack foods and drinks. My Tesla offers something more like Rivian, with water, coffee and maybe some snack bars, but also have some very high end locations for charging that includes a full lounge and in West Los Angeles their charging locations has a full on cafe and offers movies in the parking lot after dark!

You can ask them nicely to top off your windshield washer fluid. It smells heavenly and is worth the price if you have to buy it.

See if you can get some for free to hold you over till you get your next fix.... I mean your next shipment from GC.

For my Ford, they come to me, take my car, service it, and drop it off. It’s free. And it’s encouraged.

Rivian obviously has other priorities, as it should, because it needs to just stay alive. I’d rather then exist in 4 years then get goodies or perks. Their viability is my #1 concern with their cars.

Houston SC. Is pretty good about getting you to 70..I live three hours away so they will get me to 100 upon request

I think that's a conversation between you and your SC. From past shares, some SCs are so busy the cars sit for days, weeks, before being worked on. So, to me, kind of a no brainer to take it in charged; just in case.

You might find boxed water or free coffee. Honestly you are lucky to get an appointment. Three months after picking up my vehicle, I had my first mobile appt to take care of a laundry list of items. Of the seven action items, they took care of one of them, the rattle in the center dash grill. Everything else they said would need a service center appt, of which the earliest is mid November 2024 as of today. I didn't get a receipt or writeup of what was even done. Be happy you have an appointment. Such is the state of Rivian service today.
