Just got our R1S. Currently 120v trickle charging. Can anyone tell me why the app says charging at 0.0kwh and the car correctly says charging at 1.3 kw? The car went up 2 miles after a hour but still says charging at 0.0 kw on the app. Thanks!
A lot of the numbers in the app are rounded and/or truncated, which has a big effect on small numbers. When it says 0 that really might be close to 1 for example.
Scroll down and look at the graph and see what it says. You should also be able to see the total time spent charging and the total charge delivered.
On a 120V outlet you should get about 1kWh (=~2 miles of range) into the battery every hour.
Thanks for the response. Looks like I got the overnight charge I expected. I just couldn’t understand why the app said zero. Would why Rivian would round to whole numbers.
I started having this issue with latest app update on iOS 2.19.1
It did start after I used some RAN chargers.
Those show the kWh correctly.
But now at home, app reports at 0kWh
But in the car it correctly shows 11kWh
Wondering if anyone else is seeing this too
I did already try infotainment /full reset in the car. And hard reset of iPhone
also charging history section in the app is not registering new L2 charging sessions…
