Does Rivian implementation allow for multiple people with different Apple Music accounts (same household) change users, like one can on AppleTV?

There is no user ID assignment to the driver, or at least so it seems. If there is, I am not aware of it.

It would be great to be able to have different user music selections without having to log out and log back in with another user ID. At least user ID assigned to each driver.

Please tell me that I'm wrong and that there is this option already!

Thanks in advance.

Nope. And they don’t for any other streaming built in either. Took Tesla like 5 years to figure that out (and was annoying not having that when you share a car) but they eventually did. Hopefully Rivian doesn’t take that long to implement it.

Between this shortcoming and the other bothersome issues with Apple Music, I’m not signing up for Connect+. AM is really the only draw and it’s done so poorly, I just can’t abide.

  • often won’t resume playing after park
  • doesn’t remember where in the track you were after resuming (when it does work)
  • volume variances between tracks
The audio quality is nice, but sadly Bluetooth from the iPhone is a better experience.
