IMO, it's worth upgrading from Watch 4. I had a Watch 2 and hardly ever used it because of poor battery life. When 4 came out, it was advertised as having better battery life. In reality, it was just marginally better. And, again, I never used it. I didn't get back into Apple watches until Ultra 1, with which a single full charge lasts me two full days. My other watches—nearly all automatics—became paper weight because of it.I agree. I was just providing an alternative for those that said they can't get the new app on their watch.
Refurbs direct from Apple are worth considering, if cost is a consideration. But sometimes the cost savings isn't high enough to be compelling (usually the case for more recent models).
