"New" Rivian transfer and key delivery

Just purchased a R1T from a non-Rivian dealership. Any idea how long the current "Ownership transfer" takes within Rivian's system? The dealership only had one key and they clearly weren't familiar with Rivian or their process, so I'd like to get the other key deactivated asap. Additionally I have an order in for a Rivian fob (and other stuff from the store), any idea how long that will take to fulfill? It's been about a week with no updates....

I'd suggest reaching out to Rivian directly, don't assume the dealer you bought it from did anything whatsoever.

You'd likely need the bill of sale and other paperwork provided during the purchase, but should be able to have Rivian support handle everything in one phone call.

On the order fulfillment, it took 4 months for my floor liners to show up, and they only shipped after I asked them to cancel the order.

Yikes! Well good news is that the ownership thing finally cleared and it looks like I can deactivate the other key via the app. I booked a SC appointment to have the truck checked over so maybe I'll pull your trick about telling them to cancel the order. Thanks!

There's no definitive answer... 1 week on-wards, pending who you get and how busy they are. Once transferred to you, you can get your Rivian mobile app and Apple Watch (if you have one) set up to be keys (as well as digital wallet keys, since it's a gen2), or you can buy a gen2 Keyfob from the Gear Shop, or keycards at a Service Center and have them be programmed/assigned to your car/account.
