I was in south Chandler (Queen Creek and McQueen) this afternoon around 5:00 pm and saw a Rivian Blue R1T. Anyone in this forum?

I saw the vehicle approaching from behind and knew instantly what was about to pass me. It was an encouraging moment.

This was almost surely me since this I drive Queen Creek Road home from work and had my Blue R1T delivered back on 3/25. I have still yet to see another R1T on the road but my wife did see a white one around Ray and Higley about a month ago. When mine was delivered they said it was the 5th one they had delivered out of the Phoenix delivery center. It is good to hear there may be around 40+ delivered now in Phoenix.

With Regards to the Plates it took a while but over the last few weeks my plate was finally visible on AZMVDNOW and I was able to order a personalized plate once it showed up in the system. My non personalized plate showed up a few days ago and I have it on the truck now. Still waiting for the personalized plate but I ordered it less than 3 weeks ago.

I saw a Launch Green truck on 32nd just north of Indian School the other day and flashed my lights at him to say "Hey!", but I think he thought I was identifying a police officer as he just started looking around.

Anyway, looking forward to the day that there are enough of us to do a meet & greet.

I’ll keep an eye out for you on the road (I live in this area as well) so I can enjoy the R1T vicariously…
BTW, did you have to take any additional steps to get the blue plate or was that what was given by default?

The Blue Plate was given by default, I didn't have to do anything special.

I use The Wrap Room. I've only had one issue that was quickly resolved and he's done three cars for me.

I haven't quantified any increase in keeping the cabin cool.....but I'm sure there is a small hit for the AC compressor running more frequently along with the fan motors........you don't see anything on estimated range per se' if you turn off the ac system.....

Exactly. However, over the last couple days I've used Pet Mode a lot. Haha For me. Doggies are home in the cool house.

They are finally doing test drives in AZ!

I have seen a few around, but since we are waiting on a R1S and and a R1T Max, we are still a few months out on deliveries. Looking forward to actually getting to see one up close and get to do some driving.

I'm down in the Phoenix area. Looks like I might be getting mine soon but I don't really know when I reserved. I was July-Sep but got moved to sep-oct. Guide contact last Friday, VIN assigned, Guide indicated 6 weeks but said they prefer to underpromise and over deliver so we will see.

Pretty sure I saw you on my way home a month ago! I live at Power and Ocotillo and saw you cross the intersection at Power and Queen Creek. I had a bit of a freakout moment when I saw it

For those in AZ that have received their truck: given we’ve had a few very hot days (at least in Phx are), what are your observations on cabin temperature and drivetrain efficiency?

Drivetrain has been fine. It's hot, but when is it not? The glass roof is hot to the touch, but once the A/C get's going it's about as good as any other car on a crazy hot day. I'm just used to it.
