I spoke with a VW dealer in Quebec about the range drop on EVs. He told me that based on their experience, the biggest drop in EV efficiency occurs between 10C and 0C (50F to 32F). Once the temperature drops below freezing, the loss in efficiency slows down. So, the biggest effect of cold weather on EV efficiency they see is 50F and below down to 32F.
Personally, I notice decreased efficiency already in mid 60s F compared with mid 70s and 80s F.
