Every time Elon tweets something irrational, their stock takes a dump. RJ should learn from this! LOL

Is the lesson RJ is supposed to learn that if he doesn't tweet often enough RIVN may become constipated? Would one tweet each day from RJ first thing in the morning be enough to keep RIVN regular?

Personally I would be thrilled if RIVN follows TSLA's footsteps. Even if there are occasional twitter related bowel movements.

Interesting what he said about the discrimination suit. Either the person who filed the suit is lying, RJ is lying or he doesn't have a true pulse on the culture (or his leadership team). Culture is complex so maybe its some combination of the three. Time will tell.

She would’nt be the first VP wannabe CEO to make her boss look stupid by bringing new ideas to meetings without having talk about it with him. She may be the kind of person who wants all the credit for every person around ideas. There is a reason why RJ isolated himself from her overtime. Previously President of a division which is in essence a distribution arm in USA of a foreign manufacturer didn’t qualify her to be involve in all strategic decisions outside of sales/marketing.

Anyone rewatch the video just to watch the people working on the line in the background behind RJ? Just seemed to be some people QCing the trucks coming off the line, but not in any real organized way.

I found this to be an excellent interview, if a bit sparse. Some takeaways:

- refers to the Amazon order as "initial order"
- emphasizes that they are designed to build multiple products at once (different teams, different production lines)
- no announcements on new plants yet (Bloomberg mentioned Ft. Worth, Texas and the UK as possibilities)
- 2000 parts come in from suppliers
- RJ dodged the question about the chip shortage by citing the emphasis on a "healthy supply chain"
- Gender discrimination law suit - can't comment, but "the most important thing" they are building is their culture.
- I love that he used the word "humility" as one of the traits they look for in their leaders.
- Rivian's mission statement - focuses on "forever"

For some odd reason I often find my self wondering the same, if he is in a state of always sick-ish traveling, smoozing with media, doing interviews on CNN running factories etc. I guess that is why he gets the big bucks! Hope he is getting 6+hours! ha.
