Congrats. You’ll love it. Just be careful off roading. The very small sidewall of those 22s can cause you to pop a tire bead.

Congrats on the new ride. I think the used G1 quad motors are the best value out there right now from Rivian.

As for the tires still not a lot of sidewall, even if it is sturdy. Hopefully range or efficiency isn’t important to you.

Do the motors really get this hot on a rapid charge?

Ah ok I see what you meant, a set of 20s and 34s were $4700 vs 1k for the 22 tiresz

It was more about efficiency than tire size. You don't have to drop a lot of money on wheels either. The Dodge wheels fit and lots of 20" options that will perform better (range and efficiency) and are cheaper. You can often pick up a set of the Rivian forged 20's for pretty cheap and they are pretty lightweight yet very strong. There are the most tire options in the 20" size.

Anyway, enjoy your truck.

Ah ok, maybe for the for my next winter set I can get 20's. Have some suggestions to buy a set? My range is reduced to about 270

That's part of the battery heating system. The truck runs the motors hot and then uses the waste heat to heat the battery. That's completely normal, and by design, if you watched it long enough, the heat would dissipate quickly.

I have never seen my motors get that hot ever.

wth were you doing?
Supercharging, I wonder if it was glitch? In a few minutes they suddenly went to 150 degrees.
