You aren't saving much money with a tri over a new quad. My tri was 112K, and you can get a quad starting at 120. 8k makes little difference when you're already in the 6 figures.
Lol in the mountains here it's common to be -20 degrees or colder at night. When I was charging it was 15 degrees outside.
Likely just a symptom of the early adoption mentality of Rivian owners who are motivated to have the most up to date tech regardless of cost. I’d totally buy a Gen 2 Tri if I had my retirement accounts fully funded, mortgage paid off, and kids through school. Alas, only about 70% of the way there so I settled for Gen 1 Quad which is already ten times better than any other vehicle I’ve previously owned. If my business has a bumper year I’d happily upgrade to Gen 2 Quad next year. More likely. I’ll just enjoy the great car I already own and avoid the temptations of featurisim and automotive fashion.
