OK, here's a weird one: Since syncing my Spotify account to my new R1T and pairing with the camp speaker yesterday, I can't play music via my iphone Spotify app anywhere near my vehicle. Specifically, when I'm in the garage playing music — and definitely not in my truck — songs stop all the time.

I know this sounds like an edge case, but I work out in my garage every night and play music over a Sonos move. The truck's in the driveway and appears to be interfering. (Background info: a Tesla is actually inside the garage and has never given me this problem.)

So far, I've "forgot" my camp speaker and tried deleting my iphone key. I'll probably log of out the R1T spotify app tonight, but I'd prefer not to.

Anybody dealing with this?

Not sure if the same thing but the bluetooth on my iphone routinely guesses about where I want music to play. It'll jump from my airpods to the truck automagically if I'm standing nearby, regardless of my intent. I think the music stopped but it's just playing inside the (empty) truck cab.

Spotify doesn't let you stream multiple sources. If the truck is waking up the stereo comes on and it will pause the other source.

On your phone app, when you’re playing a song, select “Rivian” and then switch it to “this phone.”
That fixed it for me!

This also happens to me. I work out in my garage and the songs stop after every few seconds when using any other Bluetooth devices. Only fix for me (on Android) is force closing the Rivian app, then it works perfectly. Fwiw, I think the camp speaker is unrelated. I think it's the Rivian app causing the issue.

Nice, thanks man. I’ll try this on iPhone tomorrow and see if it does anything

This works for me on the iPhone but doesn’t seem like to best solution. I am going to try the app “Rivian” this phone solution.

Does this change how the truck based Spotify works when you get back into the vehicle?

FWIW, this same annoying thing happens to me with my iphone, my airpods, and my sonos system. I will listen on my airpods, select sonos as the new source, music switches over, then when I pull the airpods out of my ears the phone thinks, "oh I see your fiddling with your airpods so you must want me to automatically switch back to that source, no problem!" Sigh...
