California Dune Sighting In Naples

It's been 9 months since I got my Dune R1S and this is the first time I've seen another Dune.
Still love the color. Prefer my dark wheels tho.

How long does Rivian keep a limited edition color going for?
Got the Borealis and was wondering when they stop selling the option for buyers to get the color.

I don't know about Borealis, but the California Dune was not a limited edition color but a limited edition vehicle. It had features not available on other vehicles like the wheels, and the only selection you got to make was the color of the wheels. Otherwise all California Dune vehicles are identical. They made a certain number and when those were sold, it was all done.

From what I remember, they made 1000 total -- 500 R1T and 500 R1S.

And my first thought upon reading the original post was, "Wow, two Dunes in the same parking lot in Italy. What are the odds?" Obviously, I quickly realized the mistake. Haha.
