Can’t decide on ocean coast interior

I keep going back and forth on the wood vs the white vegan wrap. Wood has Rivian logo but white vegan wrap looks clean. What’s everyone going with?

Wood if you want to take delivery sooner. I think the leather is too much, whereas the wood gives a better contrast of materials.

I don’t think they have started delivering the leather wrap yet. I haven’t seen any real world pictures of it.

I went with the wood as I feel it gives a nice warm feeling with interesting textures.

I had the white leather interior + dash in my Model Y... it was beautiful, but made it feel very antiseptic like the clean sanitized inside of a spacecraft. Somehow, that was the right vibe for that car, but not for a truck IMO.

I would consider the vegan wrap if the price was cheaper than the wood trim. With both prices the same I'm choosing the wood trim.

Agreed! In another thread in this Forum, the wood behind the seats of a new R1S was reported missing on delivery, already.

Besides, I think the Ash Wood interior looks amazing. The Rivian dashboard with wood trim adds a touch of subtle elegance to the truck’s luxury interior that you won’t likely find it on any other high-end trucks.

So, it stands to reason; get it while you still can.

100% for the wood. Just took delivery of an Ocean Coast R1T, the wood makes it look so classy. TBH the plastic was 1 reason I hated the white interior of Tesla's, I like the look of natural wood better, and I'm someone who prefers modern to traditional in home decor. The wood just looks better.

I agree, the OC / dark wood looks REALLY good. Too bad mine came with the plastic piece on the seatback instead of wood, but otherwise it's fantastic.
