Car unusable after being left for 7 days

I had my car left with 60% and travelled across globe for 3.5 weeks (forgot to connect my home 220v Rivian charger) and when returned back charge is about 20% still I was able to drive. So, this topic is not accurate in my opinion about battery charge vs usability.

Left our R1S near O’Hare for 7 days with around 92% charge and when we got back we had maybe 78% SOC. No issues.

I left my R1S in the garage for 3 weeks while out of country, everything worked when I came back. Did track it now and then and also did an update from half way across the world (may not have been the smartest thing to do but did have someone on standby )

May have been a defective battery to start with, would push back on the charges.

Something doesn't add up here, and I feel like an important detail has been left out of your story.

Let’s see… Joins the forum, makes a vague complaint and disappears. Sounds like a disgruntled short seller trying to drum up pressure on the stock ?

Just to add some more data points, I left my R1S at the airport for 23 days and went from 73.5% to 49.5%.

For the first 2 weeks I barely lost any battery each day, but when the last update came out, I noticed the vehicle was far more active, even though I haven't installed the update yet, it seems like it just sitting there waiting to be installed was doing something (I don't actually believe that, but the data shows a clear difference in daily drain once the update was ready)
