Recently, my local car wash said they were required to turn off the undercarriage wash for EV's and because of some technical issues they were unable to do that. As a result, they wouldn't allow me to go thru the car wash. With the R1T's ability to ford 3' of water, I would assume it would be safe for the R1T to get the full undercarriage wash. Correct?

Fording water is much different than high pressure spray. I wouldn't try direct high pressure to the undercarriage... either my own or my truck's!

I take my R1S through my local car wash, with undercarriage wash, at least twice a week and don't think twice about it. If the Rivian can't handle a car wash then it's not so adventurous.

Both my R1T and I enjoy a thorough undercarriage wash. Now they want to deprive us of that

Should be fine ...protective panels under there anyway. My guess is they probably had an EV get damaged and had to pay out for repair hence a new policy of no undercarriage wash for EVs.

Time to find a different car wash place. No problem here with undercarriage wash in my R1s. I run thru it at least twice a week.

No issues on my R1S, I take full advantage of my "unlimited" car wash membership, no issues with the undercarriage wash.

My R1S has the extra under carriage protection; I don't know how those without such additional equipment fare in such a situation. Just FYI.
