Charge port location

I know a lot has been made about charge port location but wanted to share this photo. I am in Boston to pick my son up from college. In the campus garage they have chargers. They are located on the down slope near the exit. The cables are plenty long to reach any location on a vehicle in the spot. However Tesla owners always back in, which means they drive down then back in and end up facing the wrong direction so their port is right near the charger. My Rivian just pulls straight in and connects. I have seen plenty of BMW/Hyundai/Kia/etc pull straight in and pull the cable to the port. The Tesla owners could do the same thing but hey who am I.

I think they signed a contract stipulating that they'll back in to charge even when it doesn't make sense.

My big question for you is this: Do the signs say "Electric Vehicle Parking" or "Electric Vehicle Parking Only While Charging"? I was in a parking garage in Salem MA a couple of weeks ago that had 4 charging spots and an asshole Tesla driver parked there (not charging) because the signage didn't require you to be charging.

They are conditioned to park with their butthole closest to charger al la at a Supercharger.

YEs that is what the sign says but I have definitely seen Tesla's parked and not even plugged in. Annoying. Mass does have a ton of charging though so that is nice.

I'm thinking about printing up some "Only While Charging" stickers so I can "correct" the signs that say "EV Parking Only" at charging stations.

If I printed 100 of them I could stick them all over any EV parked but not charging as well...
