Charging-pad compatible phone case?

Hi all, my apologies if this has been covered, but does anyone have a charging-pad compatible wallet-style iPhone case that they can recommend? Looking to convert to a wallet case but the two I’ve tried off of amazon are too fat in the back to permit the wireless charging to work.

I have tried so so many…

Unfortunately if you want a case on your phone that can wirelessly charge AND have a wallet you either need the folio style (where the wallet folds over the front of the case), or a detachable magnetic wallet.

While I don’t love it, I went with the detachable magnetic wallet. Just pop it off when I’m charging.

I’ve literally tried like every single wallet phone case wireless charging combination, so if you find any you want to know about please ask so I can save you some time!

Thank you for the advice. I hadn’t been looking at detachable wallet cases, that makes sense. I tried a folio style and hated the feeling of having an open book in my hands to “do my scrolling.” Also the version I tried was STILL too thick to charge with.

I see the Ridge now has a MagSafe compatible option, I think I’ll give that one a whirl next!

The charging pads are defective, and wallet cases make the problem worse. We've forgotten the stupid pads exist and I plan to remove them to use the space for better things. My solution is this:

I concur and I have a similar solution but your arm is longer than mine. What product do you use to sit the phone at that height? Mine is a bit obscured by the steering wheel.

This is a bit flexy/floppy. It's not a huge thing, but I dislike that it bounces a bit. I'm not sure what the fix will be, I think I will try a spot of VHB tape in between it and the dash top. They are in near-contact so that might work.

There are two great things about this. It has a built in "arm" or offset, so you can position the phone in many ways. I got it so it's not blocked by the wheel but also doesn't block the main screen. It has a fan, so it cools the phone. Here in AZ, in summer, my non-fan mounts will overheat the phone so it goes dim or even shuts down.
