In a gas car, I’d fill up just in case…

What do you do for an EV? Don’t wanna charge to 100% and let it sit.

Hurricanes are at least somewhat predictable, the course may alter but you usually know when one is coming. I live on the east coast, but it seems like wild fires in the west are much less predictable.

100%. Charging to 100% is fine once in a while - Rivian batteries remain to be proven - but I routinely charge the Model S and my T to 100. When safety and life are on the line you don't want to be waiting 12hrs for the 1 working EA dispenser.

It's also a great time to go on a vacation or out of town for a week.
