Charging Schedule in App < not getting it>

So I am on Android and trying to use the app to schedule my charging. My utility provider has TOD so I want to not charge around some hrs in the weekdays to avoid the higher rates to save a few bucks. On the weekend the rate goes lower so I want to charge anytime.

When trying to set up the schedule, it seems like anything I do on the daily tab resets the weekend, and viceversa. Is this how the app is supposed to work?

So I want a Daily Schedule Setting and a Weekdays Schedule setting. Why include both if you can only use one?

Am I missing something here?

Anyone using the schedule feature in the app?

I've only used the scheduling a few times, but looking at the UI it seems to offer you scheduled charging EITHER on a daily basis OR only on weekdays. That's how I interpret it. It's a rather simple scheduling screen, not allowing much variability - can't change the hours on a per-day basis, for instance, so can't charge every other day, or three times a week, or anything like that. I expect that as they continue to work on and improve the app it will continue to get more functionality.

If your charger app supports it, you could try scheduling in the charger instead.

Yep, that is what it looks like. I'll send Rivian feedback. I want Weekdays AND Weekends with different schedules. I think just having two options is fine as most Time of Day Use programs with utilities have just two schedules. One for the weekday and one for the weekend. Probably not a lot of people use that feature.
