Anyone else having a tough time with streaks on windshield? Both my T and S are almost impossible to eliminate streaks, I have tried multiple different types of cleaners, but the window always looks foggy and you can see major streaks. Unless I go over the same area 4-5 times I can't seem to get them clear. If anyone is experiencing this and has a better way to clean, I would love to hear...thanks all.

I've figured it out on the R1T, but no solutions for the R1S yet. I'll let you know when we get both and can solve it on the latter too ?

I’ll give this product a shot. Experienced torrential downpours on a highway in my R1T for the first time this week and the visibility was so bad because of the streaking. It was like I was using 10 year old wipers…..

Are you talking about the outside of the glass or the inside?

I have streaky inside glass. Assumed it was off gassing from new materials. Hard to find newspaper these days to use as a cloth to minimize streaks.

I use the Invisible Glass foam and either a glass microfiber or Scott Shop towels. I may have to do an area twice to really get it clean clean, but these products have worked well for me on the R1T. I need to use a step ladder/stool to reach the center of the windshield though on the outside.

I think the OEM wipers are probably either old stock or just garbage. Mine cause a lot of streaking. I keep forgetting to find replacements

Mix a splash of white ammonia into roughly a quart of water. Soak a rag and wipe onto the window. Take a clean rag to dry. Works like a charm.

Thanks all for the help and product recommendations, I appreciate it. It is VERY frustrating trying to clean these windows. No, i am not an employee, but was a very early reservation holder on both. I think my color choices helped, blue T and limestone S. I was at the Dallas service center twice in the last two weeks and there were at least 10 Limestone S’s so that seems to be the lucky color here in Texas.

It definitely is worse inside, I think you are correct on the gassing of the material

I had terrible streaking on my windshield that I couldn't get out with my standard cleaners. I ultimately bought Diamondite glass polish from Auto Geek and used my orbital polisher and it is now clean as a whistle. The coating on these windshields really holds onto road grime / petroleum more than any other car I've owned.

On the inside of the windows, I've typically used Windex and then wipe with Newspaper. I sounds crazy but something in the newspaper helps reduce streaks.
