Close Windows stuck on app

Hello all:

I am having an issue where my close windows is always lit up on the app. It has been through at least 3 app updates and 3-4 OTA updates. Anybody experiencing like issue? Does anybody know of a fix?

It should be noted that I tried tech support to no avail (which doesn’t surprise me) as I had the window fix and many people on the forum couldn’t get the fix through tech support.

I have this issue. Followed all the troubleshooting with the Service Center Phone folks and was not able to remedy the issue. I have an appointment with the service center in order to get it fixed.

Wow. Please let me know what they find. Nearest service center for me is 6hr away. Would be hopeful if it was a software fix.

I am still having this problem.

After my recent visit to the Service Center my "Vent" windows feature is now working again. The Service Advisor said they can access the switches via software and they performed a recalibration of the windows and that fixed the issue. My assumption is they have access at the firmware level for all devices onboard and they simply reinitialize the firmware on the switches, then update it to the current revision and it fixes the problem.

Thanks for the info...I just noticed I have the same issue on my app. Since I already have a mobile appt scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, I submitted a ticket asking to add it to that visit. We'll see...

When being 6 hours from the nearest service center doesn’t pay off…

Have your SC check the door module.
Service tech reinstalled 2023.10.1 and it worked. A few hours later it updated to 2023.10.2 OTA

Mobile tech just fixed mine. Turns out it was faulting and appeared to be stuck on "Vent Windows" blacked out - i.e. close windows. Well...all my windows were closed so it wouldn't clear. The fix: slightly open any one window and push the "Close Windows" button in app. It closed my one window and cleared the issue.

Worth a try...worked for me. Vent and Close windows works fine in the app now...

To anyone else who was still experiencing this problem - have you checked your app lately to see if it was resolved? I just noticed this working today - I didn't change anything, the Service Center hasn't seen it yet, and the last update I received was over a week ago. This was still flawed earlier in the week and suddenly was working on its own today.
