I chatted with CS this morning and they assured me there will be more batches of emails going out, but I don't have a ton of confidence. It just seems like there is zero rhyme or reason to how they are doing this based on some of the pre-order/build combos that have gotten the email already.

Oh well. Fingers crossed!

According to the invitation email we saw it allows 2 guests per drive. I don’t expect to get an invite any time soon because I am a recent reservation holder but if I do I will invite 2 of my fellow Colorado Rivian fans here to join me.

I have not received an invitation, but didn't expect one. I'm late to the game (Dec 2021) and have an R1S ordered. I would hope they prioritize early reservation holders.

I’m at the Denver Service center right now. 3 trucks outside and I count maybe 5 trucks inside when I peeked through the windows. 3 flatbed Trucks outside.

The Rivian Blue with temp tags and I think the the Glacier White were the 2 SC employee vehicles parked at the brewery when I was there a couple weeks ago.

June 2021 preorder. I got an email and have a drive scheduled. My theory is that it is based on proximity to the service center. My address was within spitting distance.

I'm less than 10 minutes away, have held a reservation for years, and have an April delivery estimate. Yet nothing but crickets.

I'm convinced it's essentially random.

FWIW: June 2019 reservation here, LE R1T, March/April delivery, 35 miles from the Denver Service Center. I haven't heard anything from Rivian about my vehicle, or about a test drive.

May 2021. My current vehicle is held together with duct tape and hope, so maybe Rivian has pity on me?

If anything, they are starting with people further out from the service center in Denver. I live less than 10 mins away and I’m in the same zip code as the service center. I’ve heard nothing, and CS just says more spots are coming soon.

Maybe they are going in some alphabetical order? That always seems to screw me over.

I’m getting concerned that all the test drive spots in March are filling up to the point I won’t get one before the start of my purported April - May delivery window. Meanwhile, people without LE reservations are getting test drives. I’m not trying to take away from the excitement of those folks, but that makes absolutely zero sense.

If they try to contact you to finalize your order before you get a test drive, I'd just say you know test drives are being offered and you'd like to do one before finalizing. I'd hope they'd be accommodating at that point.

The news from the Denver Service Center for Feb 22 is...no news.
Four R1Ts charging, one with manufacturer's tags. No vehicles in the staging area. Flatbed trucks empty and idle.
And yet, exciting for me because it was my first time seeing a Rivian in person.
