NICE! I’m jealous of the color!..

We had a change of plans. We weren’t able to get the RMNP pass so we‘re going to Boreas Pass today. We’ll get up early tomorrow and go to RMNP before 9am when passes are required.

Another road trip in the books. Today we went down to Boreas Pass to check out the fall colors. It was a fun drive. From Erie, to Como, up Boreas to Breck, over to Loveland Pass, then on to Georgetown and on home. That comes out to 226 miles with 57 miles left over. Almost all of this trip was in All Purpose mode, except for Boreas Pass in Off Road. Not too shabby since I was definitely not trying to be conservative with my driving. The R1T says that 100% SoC I should have 270 miles of range. Considering I came out with 283, that’s not a bad calculation. However I was also driving up and down mountain ranges. On the way home, I stopped at Georgetown for some ice cream and ran the R1T’s navigation. It said I should have 59 miles of range when I got home. It was only off by 2 miles. That’s fairly impressive IMO.

We managed to get a reservation to go to Rocky Mountain National Park tomorrow morning. We’re going to hit Old Fall River Rd, as we had originally planned. There should be some great fall colors to photograph. From there we’re going to drive down to Granby, Empire, and then back to Erie for the entire loop.. Fun times.

Had a good time with the R1T today, took a drive from Broomfield starting with 94% SOC (topped up at the Flatirons Electrify America DC FC) then drove to Boulder up Sunshine Canyon through Gold Hill to hit the North side of Switzerland Trail (24 miles), off roading the whole route past the Sugar Loaf trailhead and finishing at Peak to Peak HWY (14 miles). Aired down the tires to 38 PSI for the off road portion then aired them back up to head home.

Took Peak to Peak through Ward down Left-hand Canyon (got to see a black bear off the side of the road) and ended up at Proto's Pizza before heading back to Erie (46 miles).

Still have 63% (~176 miles) range left after getting home, and driving a total of 84 miles. The most interesting was leaving the top of Left Hand Canyon with 68% and getting to Boulder with 71%! This truck is so much fun!

Picked up my new Rivian RIT Today at the Denver Service Center, and it went perfectly. The truck drives very well, and it is just gorgeous. Very Pleased.

Absolutely! This community has been great to me so it was a pleasure to give back in some small way.

Well guys, not sure how or why, but the stars aligned tonight for me. I logged onto Rivian this evening like I do every night and - WHAM! - there was an invite to the Shop!!! I was speechless - It actually happened ! So I went in, without any clue what to expect, and there was my original config from day one, except for the wheels. Compass Yellow, Black Mountain, Quad-Motor, Adventure, Underbody Protection, Large Pack, Power Tonneau, Tow Hooks, Full-size Spare and 22" Sport Wheels and Tires. Although I had recently changed config for the Limestone and OC (cause that's just an awesome combo), I still really like the Yellow so I pulled the trigger! Yay!

I have a guide now (Amanda Kyle now - anyone have experience with her him?) and have started the mysterious 8-step process. Lots of questions for my guide but mainly just need to accelerate my search for financing and trade options for my Gladiator.

Any experience anyone has with the 22"s is appreciated although my biggest concern is winter driving - lotta weight to stop on AS tires. I saw on here somewhere that you could get the 20" standard wheels (5-staple version) from the CS or Gear Shop so if it's too squirrelly in the white, I'll look at that route.

Still catching my breath a bit but it's a pretty good feeling to be this close! Thanks for all the info and support guys...more to follow...

That silver one for 125 was mine. They gave me 96K for it and I hope they lose their asses on it.

Out of curiosity, why did you sell? Specifically, did you have an issue with the truck or just decided it wasn't for you? (Not trying to get in your business...just wondering if there was problem that I might encounter)

Anyone going to Cars and Coffee tomorrow? I'm planning to be there from 6:30am to 8am. Forcast says rain isn't supposed to start up until 3pm. Of course that is subject to change.
