RMRC has set up a meet up for Earth Day! Lets get over 100 Rivians together!

Earth Day April 22 - Rivians and Red Rocks ​ Hi RMRC crew. If you’re like me, you’re maybe a bit suspicious of this new spring weather, but let’s face it even if winter returns, it’s time for another meetup! And what a better time and place than Earth Day outside at Red Rocks - one of the jewels of our Rocky Mountain area. Please join us on the morning of April 22nd at Red Rocks for an Earth Day meetup. We’re still working on the details, but we plan to gather at 9am in the upper north lot, have coffee and hot chocolate brewed from our own fancy truck outlets, see some cool trucks, meet some new and not-so-new friends, and participate in some Earth Day discussions and more (exact parking location and event specifics TBD). We hope you can make it!! If not, there will be more meetups, but this one should be special so please make an effort to join us if you can. We have a LOT of new members to meet, and maybe we can even break our own record of 34 privately-owned Rivians in one place! (If you’re still waiting on a delivery, or simply a Rivian fan - please join as well!) Sadly can't make this one. Same day as the Porsche club's autocross school I usually instruct for. @Pixelshot is there somewhere to sign up to get notified of RMRC events now that I actually have my truck?

Yup, came to the last one without a truck but won't be able to make this one WITH a truck - my Saturdays are dedicated to kids Spring sports these days!

My tax advisor says the R1S falls into the light-duty truck category because of the weight (I'll take it, it's an extra $1,000). Has anyone had the same or different feedback?

Yep filed the same for the R1T. Got $3500 back from Colorado due to the weight. It was $800 more than a light duty truck.
