So, now that I have a guide and the process is happening I need to get serious about figuring out the future life of my Subaru. Going to check with AutoNation 104th and Mike Shaw. Any other places that should be offering good money for Subarus locally?

Another approach that might save you some legwork: last year my ex bought herself an Ioniq 5 and had to quickly sell a 2017 Volt and a 2003 Honda Element. Carmax paid well for the Volt, but all those online offer places were lowballing on the Element. So I suggested she just take a few photos and post if for sale on Cars.com to see what happens. Within hours she had like 20 calls from private buyers offering cash, but also smaller local dealers. She sold it to a small dealer right up the street the next day who handed her a nice check for it.
Kind of a pain because you have to field all those contacts, but it did save time and energy in the long run.

I know there are some folks that have had issues getting their registration and license plates. I got mine a few minutes ago. So that's just under a month after delivery and faster than most dealers I've dealt with. Heck, most of them in CO send you to your county tax office to take care of it.

Lots happened really fast. I got my Config Confirm email Friday evening, Guide Monday, 8 steps today. I've done all of the steps except scheduling delivery. My guide says it should be on a truck and en route imminently. If I'm lucky, delivery this weekend else mid next week is the current guestimate.

No, like others have seen they were a few thousand below and Carmax is still my best winner so I will be selling my Subaru directly to Carmax on 104th after I take delivery of the R1S.
