There should be a button on the key fob to lower the truck to the lowest height. That seems really useful for getting in, getting out, and loading/unloading. Or even a button on the truck.

I never actually though it through, but does the gear tunnel have hooks? Or a way to mount a cargo net? What keeps the groceries from tipping?

An insulated 12v cool box in the frunk is being wished into existance as I wait. Or it oughta be.
With a headache rack, I could carry home a 14-foot orchard ladder from the local ladder supply store. Too.

That would be the southern half as Rivian's legal team ran into issues implementing this feature in the northern half once legislation passed banning said suspension mode. That legal squabble between NC and Rivian is the real reason we can't have sales or service in this state.

Rivian is eventually going to have a fridge for the front trunk, so the rumour goes.


Doubtless the aftermarket will make a headache rack or at least a cab height crossbar option that clicks into the forward crossbar attachments on the gunwales of the bed

Thanks, yeah...Now I can imagine attachment points between a very tall front-of-bed crossbar & one on the rooftop. That'd satisfy my need for a little stability, or at least as much as a ladder would need. If it was strong & stable enough to tie down the top of the refrigerator, that would be perfect.

It is both dirt and gravel. It would be cool to head into a spot, spin the truck around and then head out of the same spot.
I saw the video of the truck doing the tank turns and it was really kicking up the mud. I can imagine all kinds of scenarios that could be bad. I also have one that could be useful. I would use it more than I would lame assist.

I can imagine after a few "tank turns" your driveway will be pretty ripped up. Not sure it is designed to be used to turn around in your personal driveway .

I did a Costco run and fit everything in the frunk no problem. But with my past trucks is just kept a couple Rubbermaid tubs with lids in the bed and strapped them to the sides.
