Every once in a while I return to wondering just how strong 3 mm hardened stainless might be. This morning I went outside and measured the thickness of a piece of flat steel that I have lying around and it is 1/8" (or 3 mm). This sucker, which is much softer than hardened stainless, is a beast! I can barely bend 20 gauge stainless in my finger brake and it is less than 1 mm thick. I cannot wait for the Cybertruck to come home to roost in my driveway - for this if nothing else.

The truck is sitting at site 380. That might be one of those high volume lasik for $999 places.

Depends on which plant they are comparing the quality to. Potatoes have eyes, for example, so it could be.

He configured the Lightning as an XLT plus as he doesn't see the need to pay for leather in a work truck (i.e., Lariat). Total is over 80k but as he won't qualify for the tax credit based on income limits he can live without the credit.

Ford says it will be delivered between April and December.

He knows you would want to know this information.

He has an R1S already. This is for an ADDITIONAL T so he just won't have two Rivians.

See, it's like this. We had this Lightning XLT getting it all ready for delivery, right? Just cleaning it up and such. Then the supe says to me, he says "Joey, go on an get us something to eat," and I says, "got dropped off by the missus, don't got a car," and he says, "just take this Orlok guy's XLT! It's charged and ready to go, need to do the road check anyway!" And so I'm not gonna say no to that, right? So's I step on it out of the lot and shoot over to the Subway up the street to grab some grub, and plug it in the EA charger over there for a top off, right? And when I come out with my combo meal bag, the whole thing's on fire! I mean, whadya going to do, amirite? So yeah, we put it on off-site quality hold while we build him another.
