So their "quality hold" was just corporate lying about your truck not being built. If I was you I'd tell them to keep it but I'm obviously biased as I wouldn't buy a Ford truck anyways. The Count awoke on a lazy Sunday to a love note from Ford that his Lightning is officially "built." It also seems that many dealers are now selling them below MSRP. Once again, as everyone is of course aware, the Count's timing is impeccable.
Don't let The Countess see that note. The Count awoke on a lazy Sunday to a love note from Ford that his Lightning is officially "built." It also seems that many dealers are now selling them below MSRP. Once again, as everyone is of course aware, the Count's timing is impeccable.
Well... If they are holding it until they build a quality product... You might be waiting a while. The Count continues to be flustered by Ford with a "Quality Hold" on his Lightning. WTF is on hold? Nobody at Ford or the dealer can or will say. SAD!
IDK, the Count's 2021 F-150 with >20k miles has no panel gap issues and no hood flutter even though it has rarely spent a night indoors, unlike his R1S which has a hood with a mind of its own.Well... If they are holding it until they build a quality product... You might be waiting a while.
Well my Ford Taurus SHO that had to have the engine tore apart 3 times in the warranty period to replace the turbos is the other end of the spectrum.IDK, the Count's 2021 F-150 with >20k miles has no panel gap issues and no hood flutter even though it has rarely spent a night indoors, unlike his R1S which has a hood with a mind of its own.
They can fix the hood flutter for you with some additional adhesive next time you have the truck in the service center. Mine use to deflect a bunch but after service fixed it no more flutter.IDK, the Count's 2021 F-150 with >20k miles has no panel gap issues and no hood flutter even though it has rarely spent a night indoors, unlike his R1S which has a hood with a mind of its own.
I was going to say "Go, Count!" but then I realized a bunch of us would be going, "1....2....3....4......Most people probably know this already but the Count is pleased his Lightning has a delivery date of 9/18-9/24
Figure of speech buddy. Gotta take a lot of parts out to replace themYou need a new dealer. Turbos aren’t inside the engine.
