Cracked rear subframe

Early 22s had welded subframes and there’s been a number of us that have had cracked frames replaced. Mine happened before the comprehensive warranty was up so it was covered.

Someone else has said that the rear subframe has always been cast, not welded. However, when I look at mine, past the tire, I see that there are brackets that are welded on. I think those could be suspect, even if the casting is not. I would be very interested to hear/see where the cracks are on this one. My truck is just under 60,000 miles, so not that far behind the OP's.

Interesting. I never physically saw or asked for photos on where my rear subframe was damaged. Mine had a distinct metal on metal creaking with some turns or at some angles but not the popping that is often described with damaged front subframes.
