Anyone had installed a dashboard phone mount with MagSafe charger from EVsportline?
I believe the new version uses OBD2 port which turns on and off with the car.

I 3D printed a ball mount for next to between my screens and bought a mag charger on Amazon to fit the ball. I am also using my under dash 12V for power, I know this is a unicorn for most vehicles now.

I have the Qi2 Wireless Charging Phone Mount with Semiconductor Cooling. It works great. It keeps the phone cool and charges fast.

I have the older version that connects to the fuse panel, not the ODB2 port, but it's fantastic. Puts the phone at a very comfortable spot for controlling Bluetooth playback, easy to see notifications at a glance, and looks like it belongs from the factory.

I bought the TWRAPS version and I love it. Mine is on the right side so it's close proximity to the touchscreen makes good sense (basically my answer Rivian not integrating Youtube Music, OnX, library audiobooks). It's also raised so the steering wheel doesn't block most of the phone.

I have the @twraps left side dash mount, but run a different MagSafe puck that has active cooling. That's proven critical here in Phoenix. That mount is solid, and better than the one I had printed myself before.

Has the twraps version been revamped yet to include the longer cord (no extension cord) and the cord coming out the back of the charging puck, instead of the bottom?

Yes. Mine did not need an extension (like the installation video shows).

I can confirm - we increased the cord length so no more extension cords. But the cord still comes from the bottom, not the back for now. The back coming cord is trickier and will require more time and a larger batch to achieve, as it requires redesign of the entire thing, including the PCB.
