Dock Icons

So, as I’m driving to work the other day I noticed my phone icon was gone from the dock. Ok, strange I thought but I swiped up and there it was so I used it from there. When I went to fix this later and put it down on the dock it would not let me. It is only allowing a max of 4 icons in the dock now instead of 5 plus the last used one on the right. I thought ok, time for a reboot as that usually fixes any problem with the infotainment stuff. Did that and it’s still the same. I haven’t gotten any updates recently and am on 2024.11.02. I have noticed things resetting though a few times the last week like my efficiency history and the gage screen going back to the picture of the truck. But something seems to have changed that it will not allow me to put 5 icons on the dock. Any one else notice this recently?

I’ve had the same issues. Thought it was just me. Several times my efficiency meter has reset overnight in the past few weeks, my gauge screen reset to the view of the car and I noticed just yesterday that my icons reset their order and are down to four, I didn’t try to read the fifth icon. I’m also on 2024.11.02.

I’ve also noticed that recently when I try to view the info of a changing station, it tries to route me there, it doesn’t show the information or the new score. Overall some odd behavior.

I, too, am seeing evidence of midnight tampering from Rivian. Tidal album art returned, audio output volume much lower, fewer icons on dock, efficiency graph reset twice, failed to kneel twice. Not willing to reboot because I like having the album art back.

You know I wasn’t sure about the volume or if was just my ears so I didn’t mention it. But yeah volume does seem less than before. 23 used to be the sweet spot and now it doesn’t seem the same. The other day I did an infotainment reset and it didn’t help. So today I decided to try a full reset. Surprisingly it fixed a few things. The dock icons are back to normal and back to the way I set them. Album art is still there on tidal. Charger info seems to work. But volume still seems lower than before. Will see how it goes from here.
