This is exactly why I started this thread.

people love to come on forums to complain.

Even though the the tonneau has a design flaw it now as bad as everyone says. I seriously use mine many times a week. I am never nervous about using it. I just make sure I don’t use it with debris on it (small rocks or twigs) and I lube it monthly.
what do you lube and with do you lube it with?

I use Dupont Non-stick Dry Film Lubricant with Teflon. I spray it along the full length of the rails with the cover open about once a month.

My cover works like new after 14 months of nearly daily use, but I make sure to never open without checking for debris on the cover.

I have the Launch Edition with the power cover. I finally got approval to have it replaced and I thought it would be with the second gen power cover but I see on the parts list just rails?

What am I missing?

Have they finished service yet? Looks like just various bolts they'll use, not the main part#. Follow up once complete.

I took delivery September of 2022. 46k miles on the truck, I open and close the power tonneau cover at least 2-3 times a week and it still works like the day it was new. Never serviced, I clean it every time I wash the truck. I make sure to remove any debris, leaves, twigs, etc. before opening so it's not jamming anything in between the slats or in the tracks when stacking. So far, no issues.
