Dog opens 120v plug cover in trunk

Does anyone else’s dog keep opening the 120v socket cover in the R1S trunk? I keep them off but rather not have the dog sticking tongue in there. Rivian should have made that cover click into place rather than having no resistance when closed.

I lick 120v all the time, it doesn't hurt much, reminds me of the buzzy button cocktails.

Seems like the sort of problem that fixes itself, but maybe you don't feel like being Darwin's little helper today! Maybe get some of those plastic plug inserts that they sell for child safety?

There's basically something like "Rule 34" when it comes to dogs' mouths: if it exists, a dog can figure out a way to get it in its mouth! (And then we let them lick our faces!!!)

Those outlets should be off unless you turn them on in the Camp settings, right? But I had the same thing and didn't want it getting dirty, so I added some sticky velcro to keep that cover shut.

I mean... he will only do it once...? Our 110 pound Bernie decided to bite the Christmas light cord once and he won't even walk by the cord again...
