door wind noise-driver side

I’m getting whistling inside the cabin and I can’t pinpoint it. For those who have had noise from the small triangle windows which area should I tape off to test if it’s coming from there?

If you are noticing this towards the bottom of the windshield it is possible that you have a "warped" trim piece. I go in next week to have this replaced; whistle noise from ~ 30-50mph. Not noticeable at low or high speeds.

The black trim piece sits at the bottom of the windshield, take a look at it and see if it is completely flat.

next service center appt is in December, after 'pushing' to get appointment- took one week to get an appointment. why do they release cars and not have service support on these high end vehicles? utter diasppointment with Rivian. the value is down by $9000 in 4 mos;(

How can you tell if it is wind noise that can/should be fixed and wind noise coming from the vehicle pushing air as it travels down the highway?

Try rolling down the window and rolling it back up. Sometimes it doesn’t re-seat and when I did that it cut the noise down

Thanks for the tip, I did try this a few times so my thinking is that it’s not the window itself. Maybe door trim or somewhere on windshield. I’ve tried taping several areas up and testing, no success.

They told me a mobile service would be set up end of October. Will see. I have seems others say that mobile can change the triangle window.

The wind noise is getting much worse for me now and also have a mobile service scheduled in couple of weeks. Same triangle window seal for me... I can reduce the noise level by pressing on the seal from the inside, so it's definitely the root of the issue. It gets so bad sometimes that I hear howling/whistling sounds sometimes depending on cross wind. Curious if others have luck with mobile fix.

To be fair, any car, especially in this price point instantly loses 10-15% the minute it's considered "used" when you drive it off the lot.
