Lots of opinions on this topic. I use a Samsung T7 Shield. It seems to do just fine, but I don’t review my drive videos that often ??‍

Very happy with my
Crucial X6 2TB Portable SSD
Also bought a right angle usb-c cable. Plug the right angle end into left jack in center console compartment and tuck drive into elastic on back wall of compartment. Never in the way and never shifts around.
