It feels to me when using driver+/adaptive cruise control that the truck is utilizing the friction brakes (can feel the pedal move) and not regenerative ones to regulate speed.

Is this the correct understanding?

I would like clarity on this too. The pedal definitely moves when slowing even slightly while using adaptive cruise. I can’t tell if it is blending regen and friction or if it’s just regen. I would love to why the pedal needs to move when using adaptive cruise and doesn’t need to move when just using one pedal driving.

Hadn't noticed that, but the tire wear is bad. Like to know if regen set on high does that, or braking does that or the torque management does it. Likely all, but does anyone have more on this issue?

I'm not sure what tire wear has to do with this thread. Stopping is stopping.

Don't drive in conserve mode, don't launch it from stop, drive in standard height. Tires will last longer.

I mentioned tire wear because Im having a hard time with excessive wear and already follow the advice you said. Wondering is braking via brake pedal different than using the regenerative braking easier on tired. Like you, braking is breaking both should be the same. I have not had such tire wear with an ICE. I'm a light driver. Never launched, etc.
