Does anyone know what this sound is? I’ve had all related half-shaft campaigns/repairs done before…this sound is new…

Jeebus... Not what you want to come out to in the morning. Maybe pop the center cap off and see if the bolt is seated/tight? I wouldn't drive it either way until you can determine the cause.

That was my thinking, but bolt is tight...I drove it around the neighborhood yesterday and took about 15 minutes before it starting making the noise in the video again. Earliest appointment was two months out even showing service the video/noises.

Anything I could suggest would be guess work. It's difficult to pinpoint unless you have someone by the tire while operating it, or you have the wheel off and you're able to inspect the components.

Could be half shafts, could be sub-frame... who knows. But what I do know, is that sucks. Sorry man.

In my experience on other vehicles, when the CV joints fail, they are most noticeable when the tires are turned to the max to put the most angle on the joint. If it gets worse when you turn the wheels a lot, it is most likely a CV joint on one of the axle half shafts. Do it with care, I had one snap at the extreme angle and no moving after that.

And in reverse puts max strain on it.
