Do you guys ever get this message? I have gotten it twice now. Both times after charging at home. (but I charge every day so not sure that has anything to do with it.)

When this message pops up I do not have any driver+ features. But then when I park and come back to the truck it is working again.

This has popped up for me a couple times but typically goes away before I can grab my phone to snap a photo and then everything seems to work fine. I also got an “automatic headlights unavailable” message a startup similar to the timing of the driver + message but they seem to clear up.

I'll get it flash up for a second when the truck first wakes up. Along with about 10 other alerts about the doors, tunnel being open and stuff. It all goes away once the truck fully wakes up.

I’ve gotten a similar message several times, though it never includes “service soon”. Thus far, I’ve only noticed it in the mornings and I won’t have any Driver+ features during my drive to work. When that happens no cars or pedestrians show up on my gauge cluster. I assume that means no collision avoidance as well.

When I leave work to go home, everything works fine.

As a reference point, it happened this morning and I didn’t charge last night so for me it’s unrelated to charging.

Started getting this message 3 days and 200miles in.

First time I saw it was after a 16hr 120v charge with the portable charger.

A full reset made it go away. Then it popped back up the very next time I entered the car.

Even basic cruise control is disabled and rear cross traffic too.

I’m seeing it as well. Like others are saying it goes away quickly and everything seems fine once the truck is fully booted up.

Mine just escalated to “Vehicle battery issue service truck soon” and even more scary “System fault detected. Performance limited. Service may be required”.

Fewer than 250miles.

Has anyone else experienced permanent “Driver+ Unavailable service soon” warnings?

I’m sending my truck back to ATL for the second attempted fix. All my radar features are permanently disabled.

I can’t find any cases of someone who has had this same permanent failure.

Learning new stuff… looks like my permanent Driver+ Unavailable errors are leading to the SC to replace the XMM. I’ve learned through one other post here, that’s the Experience Management Module. The service rep also used the term “main computer”.

They are specifically waiting for upper level techs to give them permission to change the XMM.

Feels like I’m blazing new ground here as I’ve not heard anyone mention this on this forum.

Apparently the part is called AXM. It’s either expensive or in low supply (or both) as the SC has waited over a week to obtain “permission” to replace it and to get the part shipped.

Can’t find any info on what it stands for or anyone else who has had this problem.

Lonely place.

After 800 miles and 1 month ownership, got same message - Driver+ Unavailable. Have submitted service case with rivian and let’s see where it goes.

I got this last week after ~700 miles and two weeks of ownership. Rivian had me do a hard reset and it cleared (hasn't been back yet).

Mine is getting replaced as well. Screens all went out.

Echoing @godfodder0901 here, all of these things happened on a road trip from SF to LA. Started the day with black screens, then reset and okay. Drove about 100 miles before driver assist stopped working, then about 180 miles in screens died. Will be asking about this AXM part asap.
