Mine sqweeks and creaks a bit. Can't seem to figure out where it's coming from. ? just the drivers door. Side note my passenger rear door has to be closed harder than the rest. ?

Mine also groans/creaks/squeaks. I submitted a ticket via the app and Rivian indicates they will address it at my 26 Dec SC appt. We’ll see how it goes…

Passenger doors, no. Gear tunnel doors, yes. It's difficult to see into the void to know what to lube, so I just kinda blindly spray the dry lube all up in there.

It comes from the front bottom corner where the door trim rubs the rubber seal. Push in pieces. Wipe clean of debris. Spray with your PTFE Dry Lube you should have for your tonneau. Wipe excess. Takes less than a minute.

Sounds like Rivian’s missing a marketing opportunity for “Gary’s Gear Lube” in the Gear Shop. So many applications. Perhaps even a desert topping, too.

Circling back since I mentioned this issue when I last had a mobile tech out for something. He basically said the same thing as this and fixed it right away. You can see on the trim where it's rubbing against the door so it's pretty easy to identify.

The tech's theory was that road salt made it worse, which is why the issue is popping up in the winter.

On mine, the conduit for all the cables rubs and makes the noise. I guess it will eventually wear out the paint. Also, just noticed that the door cutouts for latches have very sharp edges.
