Over the last few weeks my charging power drops down quickly after I start charging
It start at 11.0 then drops to 7.4 and takes me a longer time
I have a wall charger and I was concerned that it may have a defect and brought the electrician back to check and connection is good
Tried to restart the car with no charge
Finally I tried to use one of the chargers at work and droppalso very significantly
I have appointment with them this month but I am con that it’s something related to the new update in the system
Any one has issues with charging also

What is your usual starting point for these charging sessions? If you are already at a high state of charge it will drop off soon after starting.

Usually even at low charge states
So even if you are at say 20% when yo start charging it drops off that quickly when using L2 chargers? What about if you plug into an L3 (fast charger)?

Your Rivian has a charging module that controls L1/2 charging and another that controls L3 charging. Sometimes they can go bad, but usually you would be getting error messages on the driver display.

Yes this has also happened to me and my 95xx vin T. I have a Rivian charger (you didn't mention what you had). I've had an unchanged setup for almost 2 years without issues.

I wonder if it is something related to a recent update. Maybe related to thermal regulation? The only problem with this is I only charge from 11p-7a at my house to take advantage of cheap electricity rates. So thermal management shouldn't really be an issue.

I think it’s related to the new update
Honestly I don’t know much about details
I have seen it happening throughout different chargers types

Mine only recently started dropping back from 11 -7.4 also. Unfortunately, I don't have any charging screenshots to share but it only charges at 11 briefly before dropping to 7.4 for the rest of the session. Don't know when it started, but I first noticed it 1-2 weeks ago.

Happens all states of charge. I really only charge at home so can't speak re: other L2 chargers. Never before had an issue with L3 charging but haven't used it for about a month.

It is because of the AZ heat. My place in Indio has a similar climate, when the temperature in the garage gets above 92 degrees or so I have a similar issue.

I have not found it to be an issue and when the temps get lower normal charge speeds resume. I’m considering putting a mini split in my garage out there but I’m not really out there enough in the summer to really justify it. A swamp cooler for the garage would help as well.

It's 71 f outside right now and my T is charging at 7.5 kW using the factory cable plugged into a 50 amp outlet. It is currently at 51% on its way to a 70% charge. Software was updated last Friday.
In the past I believe that it charged at 11 kW on the same set up, but I can't be sure.
