We recently took a road trip to LA and back in the R1T. The first half of the trip did not go well. We selected a charging location that really hurt. We were stuck at Harris Ranch for nearly 4 hours, down to 2% charge in 110F+ heat. When we finally got our chance to charge, we got a whopping 38kW.
Now for the interesting part. A Vinfast VF8 pulled in to the spot adjacent to us and attempted to use the second head on the charger. As soon as he plugged in, the R1T faulted and the station faulted. We'd been charging for all of 2 minutes when this happened. After unplugging both cars and re-initiating the charge session on the truck, we charged enough to make it to the next stop (way better place to stop: Kettleman City has 8 350kW units, a canopy, and all were online!). My concern is nothing prevents this kind of action from a user. EA should fix this by isolating the unused port (doesn't take much, a couple of signal relays should do it).

Has anyone else experienced this?

The return trip was smooth. We stopped at Kettleman City and Manteca (RAN) and had no charging issues.
