Wildpeak, yes. I'm absolutely in love. They bite everything they get near and don't let go. Rallying a forest road at 50mph and trying to whip the tail, it kept gripping. Cruising down a snowy hill, it slid once or twice hitting the brakes but nothing compared to the Pirellis.

Also switched to Wildpeaks recently. Haven’t done off-roading yet but tested them in some snow the other day and they’re phenomenal; not to mention look great

No experience on our R1, but I've gone through two pairs on two different F150 4x4s. They always performed good in rain , dirt and pavement. Also, they were the quietest AT tires I've ever owned, from brand new to replacement with 30k miles.

Had the AT3W on my 4Runner for 7 years and 43k miles. They're great off-road and in deep snow (on the trail). On-road they're surprisingly decent. I'm almost certain they'll wear much faster on the Rivian, but as they got older I'll say wet grip and snow grip suffered to the point I replaced them with plenty of tread depth left. They turned into hockey pucks and I was getting wheel spin on wet roads with very little effort. The single worst thing about the AT3W is braking performance on slush and hard-packed snow on the road...basically where you actually want them to work well. Add that the Rivian weighs over 7000 lbs to my 4Runner's loaded 5400 lbs or so...not sure I'd recommend them unless you don't get much snow. An AT tire, even a 3PMSF AT, is *not* a winter/snow tire.

I had the Wildpeak AT3/W’s on my FJ. They were the best all around tires I have ever experienced (long wear, quiet on the road, great off road, and decent in snow) and will definitely buy again.

I was curious how they'd be on the Rivian, I've had great experiences with them on my Xterra and planned to go Flaken on my Rivian very soon... My 20's are almost at the wear domes.

I would take a look at Firestone Destination X/T…tires you mention are >60 lbs, that will have a huge negative impact on range and efficiency…

Another option is to drop down to 275/60r20 and go with the continental terraincontact H/T, likely be similar range to OEM scorpion 20” tires…

I would prob. Just stick with OEM unless you are fine with dropping your range to ~230 miles…

with R1, best bet is having two sets of tires, on road efficiency (275/60r20 - grabber HTS60) and then have off-road/snow tire…unless you do that then OEM is the way to go…

Better than the Pirellis, echoing others they're very quiet for AT and comfortable. They're very affordable so while I might be eating through them and poisoning all of the salmon, it's the most economical choice AT for me $/mi.

How have they been holding up tread wise in comparison to the scorpions?
