So, just got my R1S Quad Gen 1 last week. I was driving in the rain for first time this weekend and could feel a "thud" in the accelerator pedal when the windsheild wipers got to their vertical position.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thought it was strange (and pretty annoying) that you could feel it in the pedal like that. Let me know if I am alone on this one!

Yes, I noticed this in my R1T as well and it is a little annoying. I was going to ask about it when I had the truck in for service a couple of weeks ago but forgot. I think I can feel the interior fan motor as well when it’s on full blast.

Yep, I noticed this too. It nearly never rains here so I’ve only noticed it once but thought it was weird. Not sure if there’s a fix. Will be following.

Noticed this a while ago on our 2022 R1T. Not sure if it’s software, new accelerator pedal, or something else, but seems to have gotten better over time.

Same. Can feel a slight tick in the pedal. Think this came up in another post a long time back.

Yes, it's common and "normal". It's been discussed here before. It's unlikely there will be a fix (perhaps other than trading up to a Gen2) since nothing is "broken".

Came to say the same thing. I'm thinking it's the motors having no damping or separation, probably near the pedal area. Not sure if it's fixable, but I planned to ask about it at my first service.

I am in Arizona... I don't think I have EVER turned on the wipers ;)

My wipers, defroster, heated seats could all be broken and I may not realize for years (well heated seats in back work, my coworkers always think it's fun to turn them on to mess with people)

I feel it in my ā€˜24 R1T and mentioned it to service and was told it’s a normal thing. Seems like a design flaw and I’m getting more used to it.
