I could definitely 3D print that at home, thanks for sharing. It doesn’t seem to be an issue of sliding around though, even when parked it’s hard to find a spot on the pad that will charge my 15 Pro Max for more than a few seconds. With no case

My Pro Max chargers on the horizontal version on this divider from etsy. It has to be directly in the right spot for the pro max it think.

the front is less "cute" which isn't a bad thing, imo. i like them both tbh.

Not for me, I love how cute the Rivian is, it gives me joy every day walking up to it. R2 and R3 both carry on the cutesy look and I love them as well.

The original lightbar looks the best, and they deleted the tow hooks! Why would they do this? No way would I want a new "refresh" with deleted features which are actually extremely useful in an offroad or on-road traction situation requiring a front anchor point.

That is funny....it was one of my first thoughts! I evaluate wheels for messy designs too, for cleaning reasons, but far less of an issue with a BEV with regen braking vs soft pads on a ICE performance type car.....

ANY ONE KNOW IF THE OLD LIGHTBAR CAN BE SWAPPED FOR THE NEW ONE? I WOULD LIKE TO UPDATE BY 2022 R1S WITH THESE NEW LIGHTS!

That charging pad is the thing I like least about my Rivian. It’s the only thing that is totally useless. It’s like they never tested it in real life. I really wonder if this new one actually works.

When I bought my 2nd newer R1T, I took my phone case off and tried it to see if maaaaaaaaybe it would work better….nope.

Both my early build R1T 17xx and my late build R1S work perfectly with my Samsung Z4 Fold (case and no case) and my wifes iPhone on both vehicles with the factory fast charge pad.
